Never Say Never

Happy to say I received a contract offer from Breathless Press for another contemporary erotic romance! The ink is not completely dry but I can't help sharing my elation over it. This story happened out of the blue and I could not be happier. What is special is how it came about - a collaboration with my crit partner and writing buddy Karyn Gerrard. She and I have known each other since our early days from the Sims community.

Karyn is a talented author, great lady, and mentor. I have learned a lot from her regarding writing romance and this book is not only heavy on romance, it is a hot, erotic read! I also have to say Karyn's sense of humor is unparalleled - great fun doing this!

While collaborating is not a first for me, the theme for this story definitely was. Our story, The Hero Sandwich is a F/M/F cougar themed story - something I hadn't considered tackling until Karyn and I found inspiration. This model, Michael David Barre, was that inspiration - in spades.

I am thrilled about this story and its characters. It was an absolute hoot to share our ideas and feed off each other. Who knew we would take it this far? Looking forward to sharing more details soon!!

On the Run

The early morning chill hung in the air and misted with every breath Lisa and Marc took. They walked hand in hand silent but for the occasional squawk of a lone sea gull and the soft swish of surf against the shore. In another couple of hours, the boardwalk would be teeming with tourists, locals, and quite possibly, the hit man who was looking for Marc. He knew it was a risk exposed as he was without the cover of a crowd but he had to risk it—just this once.

“You’re going to run again aren’t you.”

Lisa already knew his answer but Marc supposed she needed to ask anyway. He’d missed her while on the run. The last thing he wanted was to draw her into the line of fire. Lisa hadn’t been there the day he witnessed a murder in the alley behind the restaurant they both worked at. If he could keep her safe, stay off the grid until his testimony put the killer behind bars, they could leave town together. He’d miss the beach though.

Marc paused near the railing, cupped her cheek, and kissed her softly. Wrapping his arms around her, he pulled Lisa against his body. It was in that moment he felt the barrel of a revolver pressing against his stomach. Frozen, he looked into the eyes of the girl he loved.

“You know I hate it when you run.”

Tell me that name doesn't scream romance novel title. This luxurious chocolate is smooth, deep, and full-bodied. One bite leaves you with an intense pleasure that lingers long after you have swallowed the creamy treat. Enjoy them with a vintage Port, roasted, salted nuts, or my favorite - gourmet marshmallows.

Cheesecake Factory Red Velvet Cheesecake

Moist layers of Red Velvet Cake and their Original Cheesecake covered with special Cheesecake Factory cream cheese frosting. Served with a generous and fancy tower of whipped cream. I confess this one combines several of my weaknesses - chocolate, cheesecake, and whipped cream. Picture a candlelit evening, soft music, two forks and the man or woman of your dreams.
